Already have the TorkLift part numbers for your truck? Use this checklist to turn that manufacturer confirmation into an accurate order. It focuses on part numbers, package contents, and quantities—not on deciding whether a bracket fits your vehicle.
If you do not yet have confirmed front and rear applications, start with the fitment preparation guide and TorkLift's official Fit Finder (opens in a new tab). Do not order from a truck-model label alone.
1. Keep the manufacturer's result beside your shopping list
Record the full truck configuration you supplied, both exact part numbers, and all application notes. If the hitch, running boards, or other equipment changed after that check, ask TorkLift whether the result still applies.
A saved result is useful for comparing listings; it is not permission to ignore exclusions or installation instructions. BuyCamperTieDown does not independently approve compatibility.
2. Match complete part numbers, not photographs
Read the selected product's part number and included-components list. Compare the entire identifier, including suffixes. Do not assume a similar number, a material variant, or the same truck name means the part is interchangeable.
For a front-and-rear bundle, check the two component part numbers individually against the manufacturer's result. The bundle title is a summary, not an application chart.
3. Count physical components as well as packages
| Order line | Check before adding it |
|---|---|
| Front tie downs | Confirmed front part number and the listed pair's contents |
| Rear tie downs | Separately confirmed rear part number and package contents |
| Front-and-rear bundle | Both component IDs; avoid buying the same pair again separately |
| Turnbuckles | Total individual count and manufacturer-confirmed range for the required positions |
| Other hardware | Required items first; optional accessories only if wanted and appropriate |
Do not assume turnbuckles are included in a bracket bundle. Likewise, an Original FastGun pair contains two turnbuckles, not four. The component and quantity guide explains the distinction.
4. Verify the selected turnbuckle version
Check the exact model before selecting a finish. Long Range and Short Range are not descriptions of the truck bed. Some systems have different front and rear requirements; read the FastGun range comparison and ask TorkLift about an uncertain setup.
5. Resolve substitutions before checkout
If a verified item is unavailable, do not replace it with a similar-looking part or alter a part-number suffix yourself. Contact TorkLift directly (opens in a new tab) for application or substitution confirmation.
Once the part list is confirmed, browse front-and-rear tie-down sets, individual tie-down kits, and FastGun turnbuckles. Keep a copy of the confirmed list with the installation instructions.
Final order check
- The exact front and rear IDs match the manufacturer's result.
- Package quantities provide the planned components without duplicates.
- Turnbuckles and required accessories are accounted for separately.
- Any unclear application, range, or substitution has been resolved with the manufacturer.
