Frequently Asked Questions
SUPPORT CENTER
How can we help?
Find clear answers about vehicle fitment, shipping, installation, returns, warranties, and product support.
Ordering & Shipping
How quickly will my order ship?
Most in-stock orders placed before our daily cutoff ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays are normally processed the next business day. Most deliveries arrive within 1–2 business days.
How can I track my order?
When your order ships, we email you the tracking number, carrier, and a direct tracking link. Please allow a few hours for the carrier's tracking page to begin updating.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States. Oversized products and remote destinations can require additional transit time.
Will my delivery require a signature?
Orders valued over $200 may require an adult signature to help protect against lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages.
Product Fitment
How do I know which tie downs fit my truck?
Start with our Find My Tie Downs tool and confirm both the front and rear TorkLift part numbers for your exact truck configuration. Always compare those numbers with the individual product fitment notes before ordering.
What truck details do I need before ordering?
Have these details ready:
- Year, make, and model
- Cab style and bed length
- Factory or aftermarket running boards
- Factory, TorkLift, or aftermarket rear hitch
- Any other frame-mounted accessories
Are camper tie downs vehicle-specific?
Yes. Frame-mounted tie downs are engineered for specific truck configurations. Two trucks with the same model year can still require different parts because of bed length, cab style, running boards, or hitch configuration.
Can running boards or aftermarket accessories affect fitment?
Yes. Running-board length, mounting location, aftermarket hitches, fuel tanks, and other frame-mounted accessories can change the required application. Contact us before ordering if anything differs from the factory configuration.
Installation
Can I install camper tie downs myself?
Many customers complete installation with common hand tools, but the work must follow the manufacturer's instructions. If you are unsure about drilling, torque specifications, or access to the truck frame, use a qualified installer.
Where can I find installation instructions?
Use the Installation Guides link above for helpful resources. Manufacturer instructions are also included with many products. Match the guide to the exact part number before beginning.
How long does installation take?
Installation time depends on the truck and part number, but many installations can be completed in a few hours. Existing accessories, corrosion, and limited frame access can add time.
What should I verify before installation?
Confirm the part number, truck configuration, component orientation, and all hardware against the manufacturer instructions. Do not modify or install the product if the application appears incorrect—contact us first.
Turnbuckles
What are camper turnbuckles used for?
Turnbuckles connect the camper anchor points to the truck-mounted tie downs. Spring-loaded models maintain controlled tension while allowing limited movement between the truck and camper.
What is the difference between FastGun and traditional turnbuckles?
FastGun turnbuckles use a quick-release handle for faster attachment and removal. Traditional turnbuckles are adjusted manually. Both must be selected and adjusted for the correct application.
Do I need both front and rear turnbuckles?
A complete truck-camper restraint system normally uses both front and rear connections. Verify the required number, length, and style in the manufacturer instructions for your setup.
How tight should camper turnbuckles be?
Use the manufacturer's recommended spring tension and adjustment indicators. Overtightening can stress the camper anchor points; insufficient tension can allow excessive movement.
Returns & Warranty
What is your return policy?
Eligible products can be returned within 60 days of delivery. Items must be new, unused, uninstalled, resalable, and returned in their original packaging.
How do I start a return?
Contact our support team with your order number and the reason for the return. We will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions before you send the product.
Who pays for return shipping?
Customers are responsible for standard return-shipping costs unless the item received was defective, damaged, or incorrect. Prepaid labels are not provided for standard returns.
Are products covered by a warranty?
Most products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Coverage, duration, and exclusions vary by product and manufacturer.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us promptly with your order number and clear photos of the product, packaging, shipping label, and damage. Keep all packaging while we review the issue.
