TorkLift D2127 Front Camper Tie Downs for Ram Trucks with Full-Length Steps
The TorkLift D2127 is a standard-steel, front frame-mounted pair for select 2013–2018 Dodge/Ram 2500 and 3500 truck camper applications equipped with full-length running boards or bed-access steps. The manufacturer's detailed application list distinguishes 2500 and 3500 model years, bed lengths, and rear-wheel setups; it is not a universal kit for every truck in that range.
Confirmed Fitment
- Listed 2014–2018 Ram 2500 applications have a 6.5- or 8-foot bed and full-length running boards.
- Listed 2013–2018 Ram 3500 applications have an 8-foot bed, full-length running boards, and a supported Single or Dual Rear Wheel configuration.
- The 2013 entry in the manufacturer's detailed list is for 3500, not 2500. Cab and drivetrain still require an exact Fit Finder check.
- Front pair only; the compatible rear anchors depend on the truck and its hitch.

Included and Required
The kit includes left and right front frame-mounted brackets, removable inserts, retaining pins and clips, vehicle-specific bolt/accessory hardware, and installation instructions. It does not include rear tie downs or turnbuckles. Choose the correct rear pair and four properly rated spring-loaded turnbuckles for a complete four-point camper setup.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Measure how far the running boards or bed steps extend, then verify the exact cab, bed, and wheel configuration before installation.
- Use the included D2127 instructions and torque values. Check that the inserts clear the steps and other accessories before final tightening.
