TorkLift D2101 Front Camper Tie Downs for Dodge/Ram 2500 and 3500
The TorkLift D2101 is a standard-steel front frame-mounted tie-down pair for select 2003–2009 Dodge/Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups with an 8-foot bed. Its vehicle-specific brackets create front camper anchor points at the truck frame rather than relying on the bed sheet metal or bumper.
Confirmed Fitment
- Select 2003–2009 Dodge/Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with an 8-foot bed.
- The manufacturer's listed applications specify no running boards or cab-length running boards; full-length boards that extend toward the bed need a different fitment check.
- One driver-side and one passenger-side front tie down form the pair. These are not rear anchors.
- Verify the exact cab and any frame-mounted accessories before ordering.

Included and Required
The D2101 kit includes left and right front frame brackets, two removable tie-down inserts, retaining pins and clips, vehicle-specific mounting hardware, and installation instructions. The correct rear tie-down pair and four properly rated spring-loaded turnbuckles are separate purchases needed for a complete four-corner camper connection.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Check running-board and underbody clearance and test-fit both inserts before tightening the brackets.
- Follow the D2101 instruction sheet and supplied torque chart. Match rear tie downs separately to the truck's hitch and equipment.
Before You Order
Use TorkLift's Fit Finder to confirm the model year, 2500 or 3500, 8-foot bed, cab, running-board length, drivetrain, and installed accessories. Check the truck's payload rating against the camper's loaded weight independently. D2101 is the steel kit; the stainless-steel/aluminum Talon D2101A is a different product. An 8-foot bed alone does not establish fitment.
