TorkLift D1109-30 SuperHitch Magnum 30K
D1109-30 is a complete frame-mounted dual-receiver trailer hitch for 2014–2018 Dodge/Ram 2500 pickups. The 2.5-inch upper receiver supports properly sized ball mounts; the 2-inch lower receiver accepts a compatible SuperTruss extension for towing behind a truck camper. A 2.5-to-2-inch reducer sleeve is included for a 2-inch upper-receiver accessory.
Truck Fit
TorkLift lists all cabs, 4x2 or 4x4, gas or diesel, with a 6.5- or 8-foot bed for model years 2014–2018. Its installation information says no drilling is required for these applications. Check the exact vehicle and follow the D1109-30 installation instructions.
Ratings Without an Extension
- Weight carrying: up to 20,000 lb trailer / 2,500 lb tongue.
- Weight distribution: up to 30,000 lb trailer / 3,000 lb tongue with an appropriate weight-distribution system.
Using a SuperTruss extension reduces the rating according to its length and whether weight distribution is used. Use the lowest rating in the complete truck and towing setup; the 30K hitch designation alone is not a towing rating for every extension configuration.
Kit and Related Parts
TorkLift lists the hitch receiver assembly, M9006 reducer sleeve, complete bolt/accessory kit, two hitch pin/clips and instructions. The extension and weight-distribution equipment are separate. TorkLift identifies R3507 as the matching rear camper tie-down pair for this hitch; a front pair is selected separately.
