A7742 is a HiddenPower auxiliary battery mount for select older Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 long-bed trucks. TorkLift’s PDF application guide lists 1994–2002 Quad Cab long beds with an included Group 24–31 battery box. Confirm the exact year and cab designation before ordering.
Application and Fitment
- The TorkLift PDF lists 1994–2002 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 Quad Cab with a long bed for A7742.
- One newer TorkLift Central chart lists 1995–2002 Quad Cab and Club Cab long beds. Club Cab and early-year fit should be confirmed for the specific truck, since the manufacturer PDF uses Quad Cab wording.
- The long-bed requirement is essential. A7740 is listed for several later Dodge/Ram applications and is not interchangeable by year alone.
