TorkLift F2012A Talon Front Camper Tie Downs
The F2012A Talon supplies a front pair of frame-mounted camper tie downs for select 2008–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickups with a factory 6.75-foot bed. The current Talon listing describes extended/super and crew-cab applications depending on year and configuration. Confirm the cab and truck equipment through TorkLift's Fit Finder rather than extending that list to every cab.
Choose the Correct Front Application
The manufacturer lists the F2012/F2012A application for trucks with no running boards or cab-length running boards. If boards continue onto the bed, check the exact fit before ordering. The standard-steel F2012 shares the application family, while the A suffix selects this aluminum-and-stainless Talon version. Do not apply the earlier 1999–2007 F2007A merely because both beds measure 6.75 feet.
What Is Included
- Driver- and passenger-side front frame mounts, removable inserts and application-specific bolt/accessory hardware.
- Aluminum and stainless-steel Talon construction for lower weight and corrosion resistance than the standard-steel kit.
- The Tie Down Finishing Kit, included by TorkLift, caps the receiver openings when the inserts are out.
The rear tie-down pair and four spring-loaded turnbuckles required for a complete camper setup are separate. Rear part selection depends on the truck and installed hitch. Use the part-specific installation instructions, confirm clearance around steps and accessories, and check the truck's loaded payload and axle ratings.
