TorkLift F1006 SuperHitch Original 20K
The F1006 is a vehicle-specific, frame-mounted dual 2-inch receiver hitch for the 2000–2005 Ford Excursion. The two receiver positions give you ball-mount height options and form the foundation for a compatible SuperTruss extension when towing past a rear overhang. The manufacturer's detailed fitment table lists each model year from 2000 through 2005.
Ratings Without an Extension
- Weight carrying: up to 17,000 lb loaded trailer / 1,700 lb tongue weight.
- Weight distributing: up to 20,000 lb loaded trailer / 2,000 lb tongue weight with the proper weight-distribution system.
These are hitch ratings without SuperTruss, not a promise that every Excursion can tow that amount. A SuperTruss extension is separate and changes both trailer and tongue-weight limits according to its length and whether weight distribution is used. For example, TorkLift lists a 48-inch extension at 6,000/600 lb carrying or 12,000/1,200 lb distributing. Check the lowest limit of the vehicle, hitch, extension, ball mount and trailer setup.
What's in the Kit
TorkLift lists the F1006 receiver assembly, installation hardware, two hitch pins and clips, and instructions as the complete hitch kit. Select the extension and any required weight-distribution equipment separately. Confirm vehicle fit and install to the F1006 instructions before towing.
