TorkLift C2205A is a front pair of Talon camper tie downs for selected Chevy/GMC HD-frame trucks with a 6.5-foot bed. Aluminum and stainless steel components resist corrosion, while removable inserts provide the turnbuckle attachment points.
Application and Fitment
- Select 2001–2007 Chevrolet/GMC 1500 HD-frame applications with a 6.5-foot bed. The 2007 1500 application is Classic Body, not New Body.
- Select 1999–2010 Chevrolet/GMC 2500 applications with a 6.5-foot bed. For 2007, distinguish Classic and New Body when checking the exact configuration.
- Requires the appropriate HD 8-inch frame and no running boards extending past the cab onto the bed. Confirm cab and accessory clearance in TorkLift Find Your Fit.

Included and Required
Includes two front Talon brackets, two removable inserts, two pin-and-clip sets, the Tie Down Finishing Kit, vehicle-specific mounting hardware and instructions. Complete the camper system with the correct rear pair and four spring-loaded turnbuckles, sold separately. Locks are optional.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- On 1500/Classic applications, measure frame height near the rear spare tire: the HD application uses an 8-inch frame; a 5.5-inch LD frame needs a different fit.
- Follow the C2205A instructions for mounting and torque. Test insert movement, pin engagement and clearance around running-board brackets, lines and wiring.
- Set turnbuckles using their instructions and recheck the system before travel.
