TorkLift C1204 is a frame-mounted SuperHitch Original 20K with two 2-inch receivers for selected classic-body Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD short-bed trucks. A compatible SuperTruss extension can provide towing clearance behind a truck camper's rear overhang.
Application and Fitment
- Listed here for selected 2001–2007 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 2500 HD pickups with a 6.5-ft bed. The 2007 application requires the Classic body style.
- The current C1204 table lists all cabs, 4x2 or 4x4 and gas or diesel for its 2500 applications. Verify the exact truck and factory hitch arrangement in TorkLift Find Your Fit.
- The application guide assigns the 2007 new-body short-bed application to C1206. Confirm the body generation before choosing a hitch.

Included and Required
One C1204 receiver assembly, complete bolt/accessory hardware kit, two hitch pins/clips and the C1204 instructions, as listed by TorkLift. The ball mount, trailer ball, wiring, SuperTruss extension, weight-distribution system and R3503 rear camper tie-down kit are separate.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Follow the C1204 instructions for the factory hitch components, fastener torque and vehicle clearances.
- The 20,000/2,000 lb rating requires weight distribution and no extension. For weight-carrying towing with no extension, the stated limit is 17,000/1,700 lb.
- Adding SuperTruss changes the allowable trailer and tongue weights. Check its length-specific limits and use the lowest rating across the truck and towing equipment.
- Changing from the factory receiver to C1204 changes rear camper tie-down selection. TorkLift identifies R3503 for this hitch.
