TorkLift A8004 GlowStep Revolution Four-Step System
The TorkLift A8004 is the four-step GlowStep Revolution for a compatible RV step well with 27.5 inches between factory mounting brackets. TorkLift specifies a 32.5–40-inch height from the top of the step opening to the ground. Each tread is 8 inches deep by 22.5 inches wide. This is the 27.5-inch mounting family; the four-step A8104 uses a different, 25–25.5-inch bracket width.
Confirmed Fitment
- Measure the clear width between existing factory step brackets; A8004 calls for 27.5 inches. Also measure from the top of the step opening to level ground in normal use: 32.5–40 inches.
- Check the stored-step clearance: TorkLift lists 16–17 inches from the top of the opening to the bottom of the stored assembly. Confirm the step well, door swing and nearby underbody parts have room.
- Designed for a compatible existing RV step-well mounting arrangement on towables, fifth wheels or side-entry campers. Match all measurements to TorkLift's guide; a four-step count alone does not confirm fit.

Included and Required
One A8004 four-step GlowStep Revolution system and the manufacturer's bolt/accessory kit. The GlowGuide handrail, All Terrain Landing Gear, DirtDestroyer brush and SafeStep panels are separate accessories. TorkLift specifically notes that All Terrain Landing Gear is not included; do not assume its lower adjustment positions are available without it.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Take bracket-width, opening-height and stored-clearance measurements at the RV's intended mounting point. Use the current TorkLift measurement and installation guide to confirm the existing step-well configuration.
- TorkLift rates this four-step model at 375 lb with the GlowGuide handrail. Without the separately obtained handrail, its footnote limits the four-step system to 350 lb.
- Use the supplied mounting hardware only as directed for the compatible application. Check step deployment, bottom ground contact and travel stowage before use.

Choose A8004 for a 27.5-inch factory-bracket span and 32.5–40-inch measured entry height. If the bracket span is 25–25.5 inches, compare A8104 instead. Plan around the 350 lb rating unless the compatible GlowGuide handrail is actually installed.
