TorkLift A8001 GlowStep Revolution Add-A-Step — 27.5-Inch System
TorkLift A8001 adds one step to a compatible GlowStep Revolution assembly. TorkLift lists it for A8002–A8005 systems with 27.5 in between the factory mounting brackets. This dimension identifies the mounting opening, rather than the width of the added tread.
Application and Fitment
- Use with the listed A8002, A8003, A8004 or A8005 GlowStep Revolution assembly; verify the installed part number and mounting-opening width.
- A8101B is the separate Add-A-Step model listed for A8102–A8105 systems with a 25 in opening.
- Do not use an Add-A-Step kit to turn a six-step assembly into seven steps.

Included and Required
One A8001 additional-step kit with the bolt/accessory kits listed by TorkLift. The existing GlowStep Revolution staircase and mounting bracket are separate. This accessory does not supply a complete stair system.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Measure the mounting opening and the entry-to-ground height before deciding to add a step.
- Follow the Add-A-Step instructions for bushing and bolt assembly; then check full deployment, folding clearance and landing-gear contact.
- Use the rating for the resulting step count. A four-to-five-step conversion changes the base limit from 350 to 300 lb; the higher figures require a compatible GlowGuide.

Confirm an A8002–A8005 parent assembly and the 27.5 in mounting opening. Choose A8001 when one extra step meets the new entry height while keeping the completed assembly within six steps and its applicable load limit.
