TorkLift A7804 GlowStep Original — Four Steps
The TorkLift A7804 is a four-step GlowStep Original folding camper stair system with 8-inch-deep by 20-inch-wide treads. It is intended for an entry height of 31–38 inches from the top of the step opening to the ground. The multi-link scissor design deploys down toward the ground to create a supported path into a truck camper or other suitable RV entry. This SKU belongs to the Original line, not the differently mounted GlowStep Revolution series.
Confirmed Fitment
- Measure the vertical distance from the top of the camper's step opening to level ground; TorkLift lists 31–38 inches for four-step A7804. Check the height in the actual parked and loaded configuration.
- Confirm a flat mounting surface at least 20 inches wide by 1 inch high at the rear bumper or below the entry. TorkLift includes a universal surface mounting bracket, but the surrounding structure must be appropriate for the load.
- Check door swing, bumper and storage clearance. The Original stairs can be detached and folded for storage; an optional Stow N' Go bracket changes how they travel on the camper.
Key Features
- Four 8-by-20-inch SureGrip treads with approximately 7.5-inch risers provide a consistent climb.
- The hinged stair assembly can deploy in as little as 12 inches of outward clearance according to TorkLift.
- Self-illuminating tread surfaces glow after exposure to light without batteries; aluminum with stainless steel components resists corrosion.
- Made in the USA with TorkLift's Legendary Lifetime Warranty; optional compatible accessories include GlowGuide and All Terrain Landing Gear.

Included and Required
One four-step A7804 GlowStep Original system and one universal surface mounting bracket as listed by TorkLift. The GlowGuide handrail is optional and is required for the higher 375-lb rating shown in the manufacturer's table; without it the four-step 8-inch model is limited to 350 lb. All Terrain Landing Gear, Stow N' Go and other accessory upgrades are separate.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Measure entry height and the flat mounting area before buying. A nominally universal bracket still requires a sufficiently strong and clear attachment location; use the supplied installation instructions and specified hardware.
- Use the 350-lb limit for the base A7804 assembly. Claim the 375-lb figure only when the compatible GlowGuide is installed in accordance with TorkLift's footnote.
- Place the steps firmly on stable ground, verify full deployment and safe tread clearance, and store or secure them according to the selected Original mounting arrangement before travel.
