TorkLift A7802 GlowStep Original 2-Step System
A7802 is the two-step, 8-inch-deep GlowStep Original stair system for a measured entry height of 16–23 inches. Its treads are 20 inches wide, and the universal surface bracket requires a flat mounting area about 20 inches wide by 1 inch high.
Application and Fitment
- Select the two-step model when the entry height measured from the planned mounting point to the ground is 16–23 in with the camper at its usual loaded height.
- Check a flat 20 in wide × 1 in high mounting area, door swing, step deployment path and ground contact.
- A7802 has 8 in deep treads. A7502 is the different two-step, 6 in deep model.

- Modular, bushing-bolted scissor step assembly can accept a compatible 8 in Add-A-Step accessory when the entry geometry warrants it.
- Glow treads aid visibility; the Original design folds and can be removed from its mounting bracket for storage.

Included and Required
TorkLift lists a two-step GlowStep Original assembly with one universal surface mounting bracket for 2–6 step kits. The GlowGuide, A7801 add-on step, Stow N’ Go mounting upgrade and other accessories are separate.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Measure the actual entry height at the chosen mounting location with the camper in normal use configuration.
- Mount the universal bracket to a suitable structure as directed by TorkLift, and check the full fold and deployment path.
- Use the 350 lb maximum unless the optional GlowGuide is installed in the manufacturer-specified arrangement; verify stable ground contact before stepping on it.
Before You Order
Confirm both the 16–23 in entry-height range and the 20 in × 1 in mounting area. The published 375 lb figure is conditional on the GlowGuide; without it, TorkLift lists 350 lb for this two-step 8 in model.
