TorkLift A7708RS PowerArmor Solar DH Battery Box
A7708RS is the solar-equipped PowerArmor DH locking battery box. Its black powder-coated aluminum enclosure includes a 10-watt solar panel for battery maintenance charging. TorkLift lists 26-1/2 x 7-3/8 x 12-9/16 inches inside and 26-3/4 x 8-3/16 x 14-1/4 inches outside.
Application and Fitment
- The PowerArmor family is intended for select 12-volt Group 24–31 and 6-volt T105 or SC2 batteries; compare actual case and terminal sizes to the A7708RS interior.
- Confirm a suitable mounting area on the RV, camper bumper, trailer tongue, truck or van for the full exterior size and sliding-lid access.
- Plan solar exposure, battery wiring, ventilation and secure cable routing in the final installation.

Included and Required
TorkLift lists the DH box, lock, battery hold-down straps, mounting hardware, acid-neutralizing battery mat and 10-watt solar panel. Batteries are separate. A7708R is the distinct non-solar DH version with a lower published exterior height.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Bolt the box to an appropriate structural location, leaving access to slide the lid and service the batteries.
- Allow for the solar lid’s 14-1/4-inch published exterior height and unobstructed light exposure.
- Follow manufacturer and battery instructions for wiring, cable protection, hold-downs and ventilation.
