The TorkLift A7708R is a locking PowerArmor DH aluminum battery box for an RV, trailer, truck camper or other installation with a suitable mounting area. Its diamond-plate housing and sliding lockable lid help secure batteries while keeping access practical for inspection and service. TorkLift lists 26-3/4 × 8-3/16 × 13 inches as the exterior dimensions and 26-1/2 × 7-3/8 × 12-9/16 inches as the interior dimensions. This is the standard A7708R box, without the solar panel found on the A7708RS version.

Included and Required
One A7708R PowerArmor DH box, lock, battery hold-down straps, mounting hardware and acid-neutralizing battery mat as listed by TorkLift. Batteries are not included. This non-solar SKU has no 10-watt panel; the solar variant carries an S suffix. Electrical wiring, fusing and any application-specific support structure are separate.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Check the actual battery cases and terminals, not just their group label. Verify that the straps secure the selected batteries and the lid closes without touching terminals or cables.
- Choose a suitable mounting surface and route/protect the cables through the rear opening. Follow the battery manufacturer's requirements for ventilation, orientation, charging and electrical protection.
- Keep the box and mat clean and inspect the lock, hold-down straps and mounting fasteners periodically. The mat is an included corrosion-control accessory, not a substitute for safe battery installation.
