TorkLift A7501 GlowStep Original 6-Inch Add-A-Step
A7501 adds one step to a compatible TorkLift SMARTSTEP GlowStep Original stair assembly in the 6-inch-deep tread family. It helps adjust the number of steps and deployed entry height when a complete existing stair system needs another tread. This is an add-on step, not a new complete stair assembly.
Application and Fitment
- Check that the existing scissor stair is a compatible 6-inch-deep GlowStep Original assembly; the manufacturer lists A7501 in that family.
- Confirm the deployed entry height, existing step count, hinge connection and stowed clearance after adding a step.
- A7801 is the separately numbered add-on for the 8-inch-deep GlowStep family. Do not select by width alone.

Included and Required
The A7501 listing is for one additional GlowStep in the manufacturer package. Verify included hinge and fastening hardware against the actual kit and installation sheet. A complete stair assembly, RV mounting bracket and GlowGuide handrail are separate unless specifically shown in the received package.
Installation and Fitment Notes
- Follow TorkLift’s assembly instructions for the existing stair series and verify that all hinges, fasteners and locks are secure.
- Measure entry height with the RV at its normal setup height and confirm the expanded steps reach the ground correctly.
- Follow the assembled GlowStep system’s rated capacity and TorkLift footnotes; do not assign the complete-kit rating to the loose add-on step.

Confirm the existing GlowStep Original tread depth and number of steps. Choose A7501 for the compatible 6-inch family; review A7801 if the installed assembly uses 8-inch-deep treads.
